Tempest

Tempest is a form of wind magic style only available to those who are over 50% Way of the Closed Fist when they talk to Jian the Iron Fist at Tien's Landing. If they do not meet this requirement, they will be denied training. Damage with this style is substantially reduced if the player's alignment shifts to Open Palm, but is not otherwise affected by the degree of Closed Fist mastery. Like it's Open Palm equivalent, Stone Immortal, Tempest is significantly more powerful than the easier-to-learn Magic styles of Ice Shard and Dire Flame.

Tien's Landing - Taught by Jian the Iron Fist if you're a follower of the Way of the Closed Fist.
In-Game Description
Warriors proficient in Tempest have the winds at their beck and call. Fighters who have faced this style and survived tell tales of blasts of gale-force winds and of powerful whirlwinds that effortlessly sent them flying away from the Tempest master himself. Many practitioners of Tempest face entire gangs without ever taking a wound, as the mighty winds at their command keep their foes at bay. Warriors with the chill of the wind in their hearts find Tempest far easier to command, so it is a favored style of the Way of the Closed Fist and less effective in the hands of those who follow the Way of the Open Palm.
Special Attack Effects
Power Attack - Sends a concentrated missile that raises the target into the air, leaving them helpless.
Area Attack - Surrounding enemies will be raised into the air, helpless to stop your attacks
Harmonic Combo - Hit an enemy with the Tempest power attack, then a martial style power attack to make them leave behind a focus orb.
Notes
Drains Chi, stronger when wielded by a follower of the Way of the Closed Fist, Power Attack can initiate a Harmonic Combo that produces a Focus power-up.
